Founded in September 2020, the Institute REDI is composed by 30 educators, researchers and professionals in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). We are a private, non-profit organization. Our mission is to foster initiatives that challenge and reduce systemic barriers through the development of collaborative strategies, training, integration and learning events for researchers and STEM professionals, enabling innovation and cultural change.
To Build a powerful, connected and coordinated movement to promote respect, equity, diversity and inclusion in STEM research and education.
So that everyone has equal opportunities and access to a successful career in the areas of STEM, as well as results and innovative solutions in their research.

TRANSPARENCY
We make all the Institute's activities and processes visible through open, accessible and inclusive communication.
NON-PARTY
We are not affiliated to any party, we do not specifically defend or support any political vision.
INTERSECTIONALITY
We consider intersectionality as an analytical tool of great importance in the development of a strategic plan, for thinking about social relations of race, gender and class and the challenges for the adoption of effective public policies.
Because the Institute is composed of professionals from different areas of activity within STEM, our actions demonstrate the diversity of these potentials, added to the creative factor, which drives us to go beyond.
We see Assistive Technology and data collection and processing as great allies for the inclusion of a greater number of people in society, in a more equitable way, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN).
